Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a client school in the Blackley area of Manchester (M8) to recruit a TA to join their lovely Year 1 class. This position will be on a part time basis, working 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. It will begin after October Half term and continue for the rest of the academic year.
Prior experience working with primary aged children is beneficial, as the successful candidate will be expected to deliver smaller group sessions, as well as general classroom support. These focus sessions of around 4-5 pupils could be utilised to provide additional support for key subjects such as maths and English. Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and experience of using phonics and schemes such a ‘Jolly Phonics’ is essential to this role.
