Teaching Assistant

Job Title: Teaching Assistant (KS1 & KS2)
Location: Bursledon, Southampton
Salary: £13.75-£14.00 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)

We are looking for a friendly, motivated Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Bursledon, Southampton. If you’re passionate about helping children learn and grow, we want to hear from you!

What You Will Do:

• Assist teachers in the classroom, supporting students in KS1 and KS2
• Help children with their learning, either in small groups or one-to-one
• Make the classroom a fun and supportive place for students to thrive
• Help supervise children at playtimes and lunchtimes
• Support the teacher with classroom tasks and organisation

What We Are Looking For:

• A caring, patient, and positive attitude towards working with children
• Experience working with children (preferred, but not essential)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
• Someone who is flexible, reliable, and eager to help children succeed
