Teaching Personnel are looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant who specialises in SEMH and or Behavioural issues to work at fantastic educational facility based near Grantham. The role will involve working with students 1:1 or in a group setting. You will work closer with students who have left or have struggled in mainstream education and you will assist in raising their academic level to the current national curriculum standard.
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with SEMH, ASC and Behavioural difficulties
- Show a caring and empathetic nature towards pupils of all ages and abilities
- Be able to support SEN pupils in small groups or 1:1 setting
- Nurture and develop the pupils social and academic potential
- Maintain records to show students progress where necessary
- Be able to assist in basic teaching and planning for lessons and small groups when needed.
