Primary Teaching Assistant – Gosport
Location: Gosport, Hampshire
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
Salary: £13.75 per hour (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is looking for caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to support learning in schools across Gosport. Whether you're experienced or just starting out in education, we want to hear from you!
The Role:

Support pupils during lessons, including 1:1 or small group work.

Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management.
-
Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
-
Support children with additional needs (including SEND where necessary).
-
Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
Requirements:
-
Experience working with children (school, nursery, tutoring, or youth work).
-
Excellent communication skills and a nurturing approach.
-
Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
-
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
-
Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
