Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling opportunity in a supportive school environment? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Garstang (PR3) area to recruit a committed TA to join their team from September 2025.

 About the Role:

This is a full-time position supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, depending on your strengths and experience. You'll work alongside experienced teachers to provide targeted support in the classroom, help manage behaviour, and promote positive learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons

• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions, particularly in literacy and numeracy

• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

• Support pupils with additional needs, both academically and emotionally

• Contribute to the school’s safeguarding and welfare of children

Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience supporting children in a school setting (placements included)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive and nurturing approach

• DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
