Primary Support Specialists Wanted

In response to a rising demand for specialized educational support, we are actively seeking dedicated Primary Specialist SEN Teaching Assistants and Behavior Mentors to join our dynamic team at Teaching Personnel. Embrace the opportunity to fulfill both long-term and short-term bookings in the  Gainsborough region. Your pivotal role will involve providing tailored 1-2-1 assistance to pupils in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

What We Seek in an Ideal Candidate:

We are in search of individuals who are not only skilled but also deeply passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children. The ideal candidate will be available for a minimum of 4 days per week, own their transport, and be willing to travel up to 30 minutes to reach different schools. Holding a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification in the UK is a must, and prior experience in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and 2 is highly desirable. Moreover, strong behavior management skills are essential to excel in this role.

A Peek into Your Role:

Each day in this role brings a unique experience. While most tasks are pre-arranged, there might be instances where your flexibility is crucial, especially during morning bookings between 7 and 9 am. Your responsibilities will span a wide array of tasks, including but not limited to supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), medical needs, and behavioral challenges.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
