Contract – Part Time and Full Time

Start date – January 2026

We are seeking a patient, committed, and professional Teaching Assistant to join one of our friendly Primary Schools in the Fareham area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children learn, grow and thrive. This is both academically and emotionally.

Qualities we’re looking for:

• Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting
• A caring, positive, and nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different classroom environments
• Patience, reliability, and a proactive attitude
• A relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential)

Role Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils
• Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Maintain a safe, happy, and stimulating learning environment
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
