Learning Support Assistant
Location: Fareham
Start Date: Flexible (Immediate or After January 2026)
Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time

We’re looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join friendly and inclusive primary schools in Fareham.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, supporting those who may need extra help with their learning, communication, or confidence in the classroom.
Your Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional learning needs.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
- Adapt resources and approaches to meet individual pupil needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and confidence in every child.
- Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to help pupils achieve their targets.
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach to working with children.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN, such as autism (ASC), ADHD, or speech and language needs (desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for education.
- Relevant qualifications or school-based experience are beneficial but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
