Take the next step in your teaching career! We’re recruiting an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly, inclusive primary school in Fareham and make a real impact on pupil progress.

About the Role

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Lead whole-class sessions when the class teacher is unavailable.
• Deliver targeted small-group and 1:1 support to help pupils achieve their learning goals.
• Assist in planning and delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
• Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Encourage pupils to build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Who we’re looking for

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience supporting teaching and learning.
• Confidence in leading groups and managing lessons.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting all pupils.
• Experience with SEN or additional needs is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for helping every child reach their potential.
