Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant, Manchester Primary School, Collyhurst (M40)

  • 1:1 support basis
  • Recent and relevant experience is essential
  • Full time position, starting after February Half Term

A ‘GOOD’ primary school in the Collyhurst area of Manchester (M40) are working with Teaching Personnel to recruit a dedicated Year 4 SEN TA, to join their staffing team on a full time basis. This position is to start after the February 2021 half term and will run until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will be supporting learning in the schools vibrant Year 4 class, with a child who has Aspergers Syndrome and requires additional support on a 1:1 basis. The candidate must have the ability to build strong working relationships, as the child can struggle to integrate socially with their classmates and can also suffer with high anxiety levels. The ability to work from a tailored learning plan would be beneficial, as the child works from an EHCP.

To be considered, you will have recent and relevant experience working within a primary setting, you will also have a passion for education and supporting primary aged children. Prior experience working with SEN children is also extremely beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
