KS1 Teaching Assistant (Level 3)
Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the DH2 area of County Durham. This role involves supporting pupils within a Key Stage 1 setting to enhance learning, development and progress.
Role Details:

Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Provide small group and one-to-one support to pupils to promote progress and confidence.
-
Assist in preparing learning materials and maintaining an organised classroom environment.
-
Contribute to planning and assessment in collaboration with the class teacher.
-
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development in line with school policies.
Requirements:
-
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
-
Experience working within a Key Stage 1 setting.
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
A positive, proactive approach to supporting children’s learning.
-
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
