Full-Time Permanent Teaching Assistant – Secondary School | September Start | Chorley

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team at a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Chorley from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for someone who is driven to make a positive difference in the lives of students aged 11–16.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching staff to support the learning and progress of students, including those with additional needs. This may involve classroom support, small group work, and one-to-one interventions.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting

Holds a relevant TA qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3), or equivalent experience

Is patient, proactive, and flexible in their approach

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Can build strong relationships with students and staff alike

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
