A passion for fostering creativity, curiosity, and confidence is essential, along with the ability to support children requiring additional help with their learning.

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Foundation Phase Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This full-time role will play a vital part in supporting teaching staff and helping children develop key skills in their early years of education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting class teachers in delivering engaging and effective Foundation Phase lessons

• Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning activities

• Working one-on-one or in small groups to support children’s learning and development

• Supporting children with additional learning needs and promoting their inclusion

• Supervising children during play, lunch, and outdoor activities

• Assisting with record-keeping and tracking children’s progress

• Promoting a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment

About You:

• Experience working with children in a Foundation Phase or early years setting is highly desirable

• A passion for supporting young children’s learning and development

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient, caring, and reliable with a proactive attitude

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

• Qualifications in childcare, education, or relevant experience are a strong advantage

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
