Role: Teaching Assistant KS3/KS4 Secondary School level                                                                             Location: Bromley, South East London                                                                                                       Rate: GBP70 - GBP90 per day

Role is most suitable for a hard-working, energetic and drive individual(s) to assist a Bromley, South East London based secondary school

Teaching Personnel works with our client schools in the Bromley, South East London area to recruit a passionate individual to work as a teaching assistant at a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school, starting in September 2020.

This role would be most suitable for Newly Qualified Teacher(s) looking to take that next step in the educational sector or recent graduates with some previous experience looking to start their career as a teaching assistant.

This school provides a great opportunity to help a candidate grow on a professional level and develop a strong partnership/relationship with this Croydon based secondary school. The candidate would have an ideal opportunity to work with the Head of Department(s) and the SENCO to improve their knowledge on working and becoming a teacher. This role would involve work with a mixture of year groups ranging from ear 7 to year 13.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with future teaching aspirations and would provide valuable experience working in a classroom environment with pupils at the KS3/KS4 level.

Looking for a candidate who is a team player and loves supporting children with their education and has relentless drive and passion for helping others, as well as:

  • Being keen to help support other members of staff and department(s)
  • Desire/drive to raise the educational standard
  • Willing to betterer themselves and others

Requirements:

  • Able to provide 2 career references
  • Must be able to pass a DBS check
  • Proof of career history from the past 6 years
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Keen to help and learn
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Some subject specific knowledge/strength (Maths, History, Science etc.)
