Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Bournemouth
Permanent Role | 1:1 Support | Mainstream Secondary School | Immediate Start

We are proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded mainstream primary school in the Bournemouth area to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a permanent position. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child with Autism, providing 1:1 support to help them thrive both academically and socially.
The Role:
Full-time, permanent position
Working 1:1 with a pupil with Autism (ASC)
Supporting access to learning, emotional regulation and engagement in school life
Collaborating closely with class teachers and the SENCo
Based in a supportive and inclusive mainstream secondary school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
✔ Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
✔ A calm, patient and nurturing approach
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
✔ Ability to work effectively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
