Teaching Assistant

Are you looking for a Teaching Assistant role in the new academic year?

We work with an excellent special needs school in the Bolton area, part of a federation of schools providing professional care to students with EHCP's.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience of supporting ASD/ SLD/ PMLD and ADHD, to work as general TA cover across all of KS1 and KS2.

Ideally applicants for the role of Teaching Assistant should have some of the following skills and experience;

Teaching Assistant Level 1,2

Support Worker

Autism Awareness

Moving and Handling

De-escalation experience

Personal Care

PECS/ Makaton/ BSL

The contract is ongoing subject to funding and is expected to last througout the academic year.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm and is GBP10 per hour.
