Teaching Assistant Bury

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a large mixed comprehensive Secondary school based in the Radcliffe region of Bury. Due to a restructure within the support provisions in place at school, the SENCO in collaboration with the Headteacher wishes to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant on a full time basis from September 2019.

• Full time Teaching Assistant, September start.
• Located in Bury, accessible via the M66
• Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school.

• Earning up to £325 per week.

The responsibilities for the incoming Teaching Assistant will include, providing general support to pupils across Key Stage 3 & 4 on a 1:1 and small group basis, working alongside the class teacher and monitoring progress, as well as delivering lessons in the absence of class teachers with full support provided.

Located in on the borderline between Bury and Bolton, our client Secondary school has approximately 1,000 pupils enrolled, aged 11-16. The school have newly refurbished learning spaces with access to state of the art resources within modern facilities. The school can be accessed via the M66 motorway and for those on public transport, there are a number of public transport options available with links across Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas; Bolton, Preston, Rochdale and Salford.
