Key Objectives of the role:
- To support either 1:1 or small groups within the schools bases
- Liaise with leads of the particular bases within the school
- Work with a variety of pupils to support their social engagement
- Ensure pupils stay on track with learning
- Encourage those with lower abilities to learning
- Support risk of exclusion pupils
Requirements of Teaching Personnel:
- Degree educated is desirable not essential
- Previous experience working with children or in a supportive role
- Desire to make a difference to the lives of young people
- Initiative to work alone when instruction is not always given
- Ability to support a variety of different needs both academic and social
