Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant in Tameside, to work with young people in Key Stage 2. You will be supporting a really strong team who caters for young people with needs such as SEMH and ASC. The class consists of 8 pupils all who have different needs. A lot of the pupils in this school are statemented and display challenging behaviour.

My school are looking to trial staff before committing to the right person. Ideally you will have the following attributes:

* Reliable, composed, calm, resilient and patient

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Be adaptable and be able to 'think outside the box'

Your role will consist of:

* Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team

* Working closely with students who have Challenging Behaviour

*Undertake the relevant CPD where necessary - e.g Team Teach Training

* Working on improving and achieving set outcomes for young people assigned to you.

* Full-time, long-term, £9pph

You will be required to have a DBS that is a Child Workforce only DBS and is on the update service. If you do not have a disclosure, assistance can be provided in obtaining the relevant DBS.
