Role Overview:

As a Future Teacher in Bridgwater, you will:

  • Step In as a Cover Supervisor: Play a vital role in maintaining the flow of education by covering lessons during short-term teacher absences. You’ll ensure that students remain engaged and productive by overseeing the work set by the absent teacher.
  • Facilitate a Quality Learning Environment: Although you won’t be required to teach, mark, or plan lessons, your role will be crucial in delivering a seamless learning experience. This is an excellent way to gain first-hand insights into classroom management and the inner workings of a school environment.
  • Engage with the School Community: Beyond supervising classes, you’ll be involved in broader school activities, helping to foster a positive educational atmosphere.

Key Details:

  • Start Date: November 2024 or January 2025
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
