Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a school in the North Liverpool area to recruit a Science Teacher full-time to start from September 2019. The successful candidate will be on an initial temporary contract but will have a view to becoming a permanent member of staff. The school is looking for a Science Teacher who is confident teaching their particular specialism up to GCSE and is experienced delivering the new Science specifications. They are open to consider all Science specialisms.

The school in Liverpool has exceptionally high standards for both pupil behaviour in school and attitudes to learning. For a candidate to be considered they should be able to uphold these high standards in their own teaching. The incoming Science Teacher must be aware they will be responsible for planning and delivering their own lessons to a high standard as well as attending whole school/departmental meetings.

A suitable candidate should be experienced delivering General Science to KS3 and all Sciences up to GCSE level. The school follows the AQA specification, so experience working with this exam board would be preferable, however, not essential.
