Teacher of Science - Scarborough

Competitive Daily Rates of Pay: £120-£160
Full Time or Part Time Hours Available: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

About Teaching Personnel:

  • You will receive fair and competitive daily rates of pay starting at £120 per day and paid on a weekly basis through our own PAYE system
  • A dedicated Recruitment Consultant who will support you through your placement(s) and offer advice and guidance on your CV and interview techniques
  • Access to a large and exclusive CPD Academy with in-house and online courses available such as Team Teach, Moving and Handling, Autism Awareness, NASEN and Child Psychology to name a few
  • Online Portal where you can access your upcoming bookings, manage your availability through an online diary and view your payslips
  • Holiday Pay and Pension Scheme contributions

As the Ideal Candidate you should:

  • Hold UK QTS through completing a BA/BSc Honours with QTS, a PGCE, or through a teaching programme such as SCITT, IIT or GTP
  • Have recent experience teaching in a classroom environment under the new GCSE marking scheme
  • Be able to differentiate accordingly for Special Educational Needs such as Learning Difficulties, Autism and SEMH
  • Be able to provide a 6 year career history with relevant reference details, including your 2 most recent employers
  • Have a Child Only DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel
