Job Title: Teacher of RE

Location: Canterbury

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Start Date: 2nd September 2019

Pay Range: £120.00 to £170.00 per day

Benefits: CPD, Free Car Parking, Pension, Weekly PAYE Pay, Personal Consultant

Teacher of RE || Canterbury

An OFSTED rated 'Good' and forward thinking, academy in the Canterbury area which provides a comprehensive education for around 2,000 young people aged 11-18 are seeking to appoint a teacher of RE for September 2019.

The fundamental principle of the school is that each student is of equal value and this sets the tone for the qualities of care, honesty and respect which underpins the school community. The school is now inviting applications for Teachers of RE to join their thriving RE department, if you are either an NQT or fully qualified teacher, they would love to hear from you.

The department runs popular and successful GCSE and A Level courses for students.

Full time Teacher of RE:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • RE subject specialist
  • Experience of teaching the current GCSE specification (A Level is advantageous)
  • A proven track record of success in supporting and developing pupil progress

You should be:

  • An effective member of a team
  • Able to create a positive learning and teaching environment for all students
  • Willing to make a wider contribution to the life of the school
