Teacher of Music – Part-Time or Full-Time – Start ASAP or Easter 2026 (Basingstoke, Hampshire)

Are you a passionate and talented Teacher of Music ready to inspire students through creativity and performance?
Teaching Personnel are working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Basingstoke who are seeking a dynamic Music Teacher to join their well-resourced department on a part-time basis, with the option of full-time for candidates able to teach a second subject. The role begins as soon as possible or from Easter 2026.


About the Role:

  • Start Date: ASAP or Easter 2026
  • Contract: Part-time (or full-time with a second subject)
  • Subject: Music (KS3–KS4)
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Music lessons that inspire creativity
  • Contribute to the continued growth of a vibrant and inclusive department
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and whole-school events

The Music Department:

The department is exceptionally well-equipped, featuring:
Two dedicated teaching spaces
Multiple practice rooms
A suite of Apple Macs for digital composition and editing
A professional recording studio

These facilities provide the perfect environment to deliver high-quality Music education and nurture students’ creativity across all ability levels. The school is committed to supporting both new and experienced teachers, offering flexibility and development opportunities for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
