Teacher of Maths- Warrington

Teacher of Maths needed for a high achieving school in Warrington

Teaching Personnel are working in close partnership with a school located in Warrington to recruit for a Teacher of Maths required to start from April 2018. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of Maths to join a school that is achieving the most progress within the local area.

Due to restructuring with the Maths department, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Maths to join our partner school initially until the end of the academic year. There is also the possibility of a fixed term/permanent contract being offered dependant upon effectiveness within the role;

  • Full time Teacher of Maths position
  • Required to start after the Easter holidays
  • Teaching Maths across the age and ability range at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)

The incoming Teacher of Maths will be joining a team of highly dedicated teachers within the Maths department. Pupils enjoy studying Maths at the school and results are consistently above the national average.

Our client school is slightly below the average size with approximately 900 pupils on roll. It is a rapidly improving secondary school which will provide the incoming Teacher of Maths with a unique opportunity to join a school where parents, governors and staff all work collaboratively to create a vibrant community in which each member is valued.

Located in the Warrington area, the school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Liverpool and Wigan via the nearby motorways. It also has regular public transport links direct from Warrington town centre.

All interested candidates are encouraged to apply by sending your full CV to Paul via the link below. For further information please contact the Manchester West Secondary Branch directly.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
