Teacher of Maths needed immediately at WF9 Secondary School

Here at Teaching Personnel I am currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to start a long-term maternity absence immediately at a Secondary School in the Pontefract area. This role is to start immediately until Easter at first with the high possibility to role until the end of the academic year (July).

This Secondary School is a happy and successful 11-16 school where all students are valued, regardless of their background or ability. Students treat each others with respect and teachers give pupils a fighting chance in life by providing them all with equality of opportunity and making sure all barriers to learning are removed wherever possible. The school are the head school or a multi academy trust holding 2 secondary schools and a number of primary schools with opportunities to work across both secondary sites.

The school are looking for the following:

• UK qualified teacher status or equivalent
• Experience of teaching 9 - 1 GCSE Maths
• Relevant and recent Secondary school experience
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Happy to work collaboratively across the Maths department to plan engaging lessons and assist with marking
