Our client secondary school in Oldham is currently seeking a teacher of Maths to join their department on a full time, temporary basis.

This mixed 11-16 secondary school is located in Oldham close to the M60 motorway and offers a range of public transport links direct from the surrounding areas Manchester City Centre, Rochdale and Tameside.

  • Full time Teacher of Maths, starting from April (maternity cover)
  • Get paid to scale MPS/UPS (£22,917-£38,633 per annum)

"Due to a member of out Maths faculty going on maternity leave we are currently seeking a teacher of Maths to join our department on a full time basis. This position will initially be until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to continue in the new academic year. We are seeking an innovative and passionate Maths teacher who wants to make a difference to young people's education, the incoming Maths teacher will be able to deliver challenging and engaging lessons to keep students motivated and increase attainment. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
