Our client secondary school in Oldham is currently seeking a teacher of Maths to join their department on a full time, temporary basis.

This mixed 11-16 secondary school is located in Oldham close to the M60 motorway and offers a range of public transport links direct from the surrounding areas Manchester City Centre, Rochdale and Tameside.

  • Full time Teacher of Maths, starting from April (maternity cover)
  • Get paid to scale MPS/UPS (£22,917-£38,633 per annum)
  • Modern new building with large spacious classrooms
  • Both Teaching Personnel and the school will provide CPD courses for your professional development

"Due to a member of out Maths faculty going on maternity leave we are currently seeking a teacher of Maths to join our department on a full time basis. This position will initially be until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to continue in the new academic year. We are seeking an innovative and passionate Maths teacher who wants to make a difference to young people's education, the incoming Maths teacher will be able to deliver challenging and engaging lessons to keep students motivated and increase attainment. We welcome both newly qualified and experienced Maths teachers to apply as support will be given." Deputy Head

This is a large modern academy with over 1350 students currently on roll; the school boasts brand new, state of the facilities and excellent provisions for both staff and the students. It has been recognised that the school provides both a welcoming and supportive environment that staff and students are able to flourish in, giving it an excellent reputation within the local community. In recent years there has been a restructure within their leadership team having a positive influence on the standards of teaching and students behaviour around the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
