Job Title: IT/Computer Science Teacher

Position Overview: As an IT/Computer Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to educate and motivate students in the exciting fields of information technology and computer science. You will design and deliver engaging lessons that foster creativity, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of computer systems, programming, and digital technologies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Development: Create and update lesson plans and educational materials to align with curriculum standards and promote student learning.

  2. Classroom Instruction: Deliver effective and engaging instruction that caters to a diverse range of student abilities and learning styles.

  3. Assessment: Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments, providing constructive feedback for growth.

  4. Technology Integration: Integrate technology tools and resources into the classroom to enhance learning experiences and digital literacy.

  5. Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.

  6. Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in IT and Computer Science education through ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree and teaching certification preferred).
  • Strong subject matter expertise in IT and Computer Science.
  • Previous teaching experience is a plus but not required; passionate individuals with industry experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Effective communication and classroom management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
