Teacher of History & Politics Job - Outstanding school, Berkshire
Our partner school is a co-educational independent which inhabits a period manor house enveloped by a beautiful 60 acre park. An educational environment that has a "distinctive atmosphere, where each pupil is celebrated as an individual and instils a life long love for learning". It's not hard to imagine why this is a place excellent educators aspire to be - the success culture is supported in it's position as one of the Top 40 schools in England.
The school is now immediately considering CV's for an ongoing and unanticipated absence within their History department, to commence from September 2019 for the remainder of the academic year. The role is ideally for a full-time History and Politics teacher, however at this short notice they would consider an outstanding candidate on a part time basis. In order to secure this position, you will be a History teacher with a wealth of knowledge which affords you the ability to enter the department and take up the curriculum and work where the pupils have left off. There is also a potential for an extended role into the new academic year for an effective History and Politics teacher.
Essential
- Qualified teacher status
- Strong subject knowledge of History & Politics curriculum KS3 - KS5
- Ability to employ a range of teaching and learning styles
Desirable
- KS5 and IB History & Politics
- Full time availability
