Teacher of Geography – Full-Time – Andover (January 2026 Start)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a thriving secondary school in Andover who are seeking a specialist Teacher of Geography to join their Humanities department from January 2026. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with strong subject expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality Geography education.

The school is committed to providing a rich, engaging curriculum that enables students to understand the world around them through physical and human geography. With supportive leadership, well-resourced classrooms, and a collaborative Humanities team, this is an excellent environment for a geography specialist to develop their practice and inspire young learners.

The Role:

  • Full-time Geography Specialist Teacher position starting January 2026
  • Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Deliver engaging, well-planned Geography lessons that challenge and motivate students
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessments and departmental initiatives
  • Support pupils of all abilities to achieve their potential
  • Work within a positive and collaborative Humanities department

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A Geography specialist with strong curriculum knowledge
  • Holds QTS or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT) specialising in Geography
  • Confident in delivering creative and effective Geography lessons
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • Committed to raising attainment and contributing to whole-school improvement
  • A reflective, proactive, and team-focused practitioner
