The School:
My client is a big secondary school based in Worthing. This summer they were delighted to continue their improvement and celebrate, as a school, 70% of students achieved at least a pass grade in the new GCSE English and mathematics, with a greater number of students than ever achieving A*/A grades.

The role:
The Role:
The main aims of the English department are:
- To encourage pupils to develop a lasting interest in language and literature
- To help pupils achieve a technical competence in reading and writing.
- To encourage reading for pleasure.
- To help pupils develop, and learn to adapt, their written and spoken communication skills
- To prepare pupils thoroughly for public examinations.
- To make a contribution to a pupil's overall cultural and personal development.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
