Teaching Personnel are working with a academy based in the heart of Poole who are looking for a teacher of construction  to start with them for a September  2020. This role would be a maternity contract until Easter 2021, with the view to move onto a permanent contract after this initial period.

The school we are working with is a 11-18 school and are renowned for there caring and welcoming environment. The school have a well-established, successful Sixth Form with brilliant students that have gone on to achieve incredible results.

The School are looking seeking to appoint a full time Design Technology Teacher to teach KS3-5 classes. You will join a very supportive and friendly Technology department. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, organised and experienced person with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a range of responsibilities which facilitate supporting the Technology team and our learners. Training/professional development available.

About the role:

  • Experience teaching Design Technology
  • QTS or significant experience teaching in the UK
  • Experience of working in a Secondary School (KS3, KS4, KS5 - GCSE - A LEVEL)
  • Competitive rates of pay- M1-M6 on teachers pay scale

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
