The School, based in the West Sussex area is a vibrant, forward-looking school with over 1300 students on roll. They are considered to be a ‘good’ school led by a strong senior leadership team with teachers who consistently strive for excellent and together have brought about significant improvements over the last 4 years. The school has also recently seen cosmetic improvements including a building project with improved facilities for its students and staff to benefit from. The Art, Design and Technology department benefits from being situation in the new building.
For September, the school are seeking to recruit an Art, Design and Technology Teacher joining an established and effective team of specialists. The successful applicant will be keen to immerse themselves in this stimulating environment and be a creative and effective practitioner. They would be required to teach 3D design, CAD/CAM, Graphics or Food and Nutrition across Key Stages depending on their subject specialism. A desire to build strong, effective relationships with students and staff to create a cohesive, inclusive and positive school environment is also sought.
To be a successful, you will be keen to fully immerse yourself within the schools effective team of teaching and support staff contributing to your department’s extra curricular programme. You will be experienced in delivering the KS3 and KS4 Design and Technology curriculum. The school offers a range of Art based courses at A Level; Textile Design & 3D Design. Experience in teaching A Level would be desirable although not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
