Job description

A Pupil Referral Unit in Blackburn has contacted Teaching Personnel as they acquire a Secondary Teacher to add to their growing team.

The school caters for children with SEMH difficulties and therefore the children cannot thrive in mainstream education. A Teacher at this school should be confident using behaviour management strategies, have the ability to remain calm in all situations and be passionate about helping re-engaging harder to reach students.

The school aims to raise the aspirations of pupils and give them the tools to embrace opportunities and re-engage in their education.

The school are in need of an English and Maths Teacher, although other subject specialisms would be considered.

The pay for this role is GBP105- GBP140 per day, depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
