Teacher – Additional Learning Needs

Part-time role

Join our team as a SEN Teacher in Cardiff!

 

Teaching Personnel are working with a SEN school, located in the Welsh Capital. The school are seeking a part-time teacher to support a small class of pupils with ALN.

 

You’ll be expected to provide invaluable support to students with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) for both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils. Your role as a teacher within this particular provision will be to help the pupils build on skills that they will need as they progress onto their next steps in their development, preparing them for life after school.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Plan and creative engaging and exciting lessons that are accessible for all abilities within the classroom.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of attainment, progress, and behaviour, implementing an organised approach to the curriculum.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to support staff when needed.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external carers to ensure that the needs of each pupil are met.

Hours: 8:30 – 15:30

Pay: From £157.66 per day
