Job description

I am working with a 'Good' Primary school based just outside the London borough of Kingston who are looking for a TA/LSA to join their team on a part time basis to start immediately.

This is a dynamic role, where the successful candidate will be working with groups of children across the school with a range of needs, including individual pupils with a Statement of Educational Needs or Disabilities / Education Health Care Plans, therefore experience of working with children with SEND and a proven ability to support children's learning is desirable. Excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as being a driven individual who will support colleagues and contribute to our positive school ethos, are essential.

The school can offer candidates:

  • A passion and commitment to support you in living life in all its fullness; striking the balance between work and home life.
  • A school environment that is ripe and fertile for learning (according to the OfSTED inspector who visited earlier this year).
  • Children who are polite and well-mannered, who are proud of their school and who regularly receive glowing comments from those they encounter on trips and sporting events.
  • Someone committed to nurturing and inspiring every child to live life in all its fullness, both now and in the future.
  • Someone who is willing to try new things and learn with us as we explore how we can better enable every child to flourish.
  • Someone who wants the best for everyone, and has the passion and commitment to work with the staff team to realise this vision in our school community.
  • Someone who is, or demonstrates the capacity to become, a brilliant teaching and learning support assistant - able to nurture children's talents and help them make excellent academic progress.
