Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a number of full time Support Workers and Teaching Assistants to work within one of our residential Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools based in Lymington, Hampshire. The young people have a primary diagnosis of Autism and/or Asperger's. We can offer you either night shifts or day shifts (you will never need to work a mix of both).  This is a full time, permanent opportunity.

No experience is necessary, full training is provided and is fully supported by an experienced and dedicated team. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a childcare setting and progress your career. If you are looking to get into the education sector and want to become a teaching assistant, this is a great stepping stone

On day shifts you will work on a 2 week rolling rota that gives you 5 days off on one of the weeks, so in a 14 day period you will only work 7 days, each shift is 8am-8pm.

You will never need to work a mix of days and nights.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing support within the residential home as well as classroom support
  • Personal care support
  • Supporting evening and weekend trips out

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
