Are you looking for a career in a forward thinking Alternative Provision? 

A Head Teacher at a School based in the Leyland, near Preston area are seeking a Support Worker to assist with behaviour in their School. 

The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils who can no longer remain in mainstream education due to their SEMH Difficulties or additional learning needs. Often the pupils in this School display quite challenging behaviours and candidates must be Team Teach trained or willing to complete their Team Teach training. The School are looking to appoint a hard working, empathetic, resilient and understanding Support Assistant to work with pupils who are often a little difficult in their behaviours. 

The candidate must be available full time and School hours are 8.30am - 4.15pm Monday - Friday. 

There is the opportunity to get involved with the Schools transport scheme where you can assist in bringing the pupils in to School and taking them home at the end of the School day (petrol costs will be re-inbursed at 45p per mile). 

The candidate will be experienced in supporting children who are often disengaged from education or harder to reach. 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rates GBP60 - 75 per day 

- Long term position available 

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties
