Many of those who join us have no previous knowledge of autism or support work. Our fantastic induction programme and learning and development opportunities help all of our staff become autism experts.

We are looking for bank support workers in our day service in Leicester. This service currently supports autistic men and women to engage with aims and objectives they have chosen. Activities include art, cooking, sports, swimming, horse riding, trampolining, music, employment opportunities and community engagement. Our job is to enable the people we support to achieve their goals, wishes and aspirations, through encouragement, prompting, praise and empathy. We achieve this through our commitment to a person centred approach and by valuing each person as an individual.

We need you to be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Being a support worker takes bravery, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.

You will be enthusiastic and up for a challenge and want to help the people we support.
