Support Assistant Required in SEN Provisions

Teaching Personnel work closely with Secondary SEN provisions in Sheffield and are looking for someone who is dynamic and capable of providing support on a 1:1 basis to individuals who have ASC, complex learning difficulties and/or additional physical needs.

• You will be required to provide personal care to your students so Moving and Handling training is desired but can be provided by Teaching Personnel
• Those who are Team Teach trained would be ideal (again, this is something that Teaching Personnel can support you with)
• It is important you take responsibility for the safeguarding of students in your care, promoting their welfare and following the school's policies
• You will be needed to communicate with a wide range of educational and medical staff as well as parents/careers

We aim to find the right candidates who will approach these children with eagerness, creativity and compassion to make a real difference to the pupils you will be teaching. The right candidate will be professional, flexible and will contribute to improving the lives of children and young people within SEN schools. We will work hard to place candidates in the correct schools for them and provide guidance every step of the way.
