Do you have paid or voluntary experience supporting young adults or children with learning difficulties and autism?

A special needs school based in Uxbridge, Hillingdon are looking for budding teaching assistants for both full-time and bank (ad-hoc) work. The school has a lot to offer applicants with on-going SEN training, permanent contract offers, highly skilled colleagues and a welcoming and friendly environment.

Located local to both tube and bus links with an on-site car park for staff, the school is well known for their perks and opportunities for staff. The school welcomes all applicants with residential care, healthcare and support working backgrounds as some pupils will require support with personal care and/or moving and handling.

Recently rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted, the school provides exceptional learning and social opportunities for children aged 5 - 19 with autism, speech and language difficulties and complex behavioural needs.

Successful applicants will work 1:1 and in small groups with classes of up to 8 pupils with autism across the spectrum and communicational needs. You will support with delivering and adapting learning plans (EHCP/IEP) personalised to each pupils learning needs while accessing and recording pupil's progress and development.
