Teaching Personnel are seeking PGCE students looking for teaching experience over the summer term!
Job Title: Cover supervisor
Sector: Secondary
Location: Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-15:00
Pay: £110 - £115 a day
Start date: ASAP
Have you recently completed your PGCE course and are awaiting your QTS? Teaching Personnel are seeking PGCE students who are looking to gain valuable teaching experience within secondary schools for the summer term. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and dedicated to providing top-quality education by covering lessons when a teacher is not available. We are seeking educators who strive to inspire students and ignite their passion for learning and success. Do you believe you could be our ideal candidate?
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour
- Plan and deliver engaging Welsh lessons to students
- Monitor and assess student development and progress
- Foster strong, meaningful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Prepare learning materials in accordance with the current curriculum

Requirements:
- PGCE student
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (we can help you obtain this)
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
