Teaching Assistant - Northampton

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis in a variety of our local primary schools and EYFS provisions. 

We have a range of roles including daily supply, short term, long term and part time roles available. This is great for someone who wants flexibility within their role and the opporutnity to expand their experience by working in a variety of settings. 

We are also interested in nursery assistants who would like to gain experience working as a Teaching Assistant.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Framework and National Curriculum
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting the class teacher in preparing the classroom and delivering engaging lessons and activities
• Working with a small group or inidividuals who require additional support
• Promote children's wellbeing, social and emotional development

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working as a Teaching assistant or in a nursery setting
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Is willing to complete our safeguarding training
• Wants flexibility within their role but is dedicated and passionate about their role
• Is reliable, adaptable and willing to learn and expand their experience, knowledge and skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
