Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Nursery Assistant
Location: Northampton
Hours: Flexible – Part-time and Full-time
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a range of welcoming local primary school settings including EYFS provisions.
This role is ideal fror someone who is looking to expand their experience in a primary school setting or is seeking a new challenge with opportunities for professional development.
It is also a great opportunity for Nursery Assistants who would like to gain experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Framework and National Curriculum.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the class teacher or room leader in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Work with small groups and provide one-to-one support for children who require additional assistance.
- Help establish positive routines and encourage children's independence.
- Promote children's wellbeing, learning, and social development.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 qualification relevant to childcare or education.
- Has experience working in a primary setting
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is willing to complete our safeguarding training
- Is passionate about supporting children's development and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Is reliable, caring, and committed to providing high-quality support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
