Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Nursery Assistant

Location: Northampton
Hours: Flexible – Part-time and Full-time

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a range of welcoming local primary school settings including EYFS provisions. 

This role is ideal fror someone who is looking to expand their experience in a primary school setting or is seeking a new challenge with opportunities for professional development. 

It is also a great opportunity for Nursery Assistants who would like to gain experience working as a Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS Framework and National Curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support the class teacher or room leader in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Work with small groups and provide one-to-one support for children who require additional assistance.
• Help establish positive routines and encourage children's independence.
• Promote children's wellbeing, learning, and social development.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 3 qualification relevant to childcare or education.
• Has experience working in a primary setting
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is willing to complete our safeguarding training
• Is passionate about supporting children's development and helping them achieve their full potential.
• Is reliable, caring, and committed to providing high-quality support.
