Supply Primary School Teacher – Barry, Vale of Glamorgan

Location:

About the Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 (depending on your experience)
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom environments
• Inspire pupils to engage with learning and achieve their best
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to staff and contribute to the smooth running of the school day

What We’re Looking For

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
✅ Experience teaching in primary schools (placements and/or paid roles)
✅ Strong understanding of the Curriculum for Wales (desirable, not essential)
✅ Excellent classroom management and communication skills
✅ A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
✅ Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service & in date EWC (or willingness to apply to both)
