Substitute Teacher
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Start Date: Immediate / Flexible!
A new Secondary Academy that has rapidly positioned itself as one of the fastest‑improving schools in the UK that has already gained national recognition for its transformation and is positioned as one of Hampshire’s most improved secondary schools is seeking a flexible Substitute Teacher to join their team.
This opportunity is well suited to Early Career Teachers wishing to gain further experience, experienced teachers seeking flexible working arrangements, or educators looking to maintain their teaching practice while reducing workload.
The Role
As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for supervising pre-prepared lessons, maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom environment, and ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning. You will also be expected to follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies, collect completed work at the end of lessons, and provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate. Weekly pay is processed every Friday (competitive daily rate), and you will receive ongoing support from a dedicated personal consultant.
