Part time supply teacher required for a secondary school in Darwen

Teaching Personnel is working in the partnership with a secondary school in Darwen, who have recently got in touch to advise they are looking to appoint a part time supply teacher, to regulary work in school each week, covering lessons due to staff absences. The school have had an increased need of supply, however they are keen to reduce the amount of footfall coming in school. They would like to employ a general cover teacher Monday to Thursday (TBC), and will be expected to be in school be 8:45am until 3:15pm.

The successful applicant:

  • Must be a qualified teacher (QTS or Equivalent) with experience of teaching secondary aged pupils
  • Access to your own car is a benefit but not essential
  • A DBS on the update service is essential or willing to apply for one
  • 2 graded references from past employers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
