GBP110 - GBP135 a day - Temporary Contract / Temporary to Permanent 

Are you an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher with qualified teacher status (QTS), offering commitment to high quality learning? Do you have experience working with children with Autism & Asperger syndrome, Learning Difficulties, Behavioural Difficulties, or other complex needs?

About Teaching Personnel:

  • Teaching Personnel are heading into our 24th academic year working with primary, secondary, SEN and behaviour schools
  • We can offer both day to day supply opportunities, as well as long term contracts within local SEN schools, behaviour schools and Secondary Schools and permanent positions

About the role of SEN Teacher:

  • I am currently seeking experienced and qualified Teachers (must hold QTS) to support local schools who cater for students with special educations needs and behavioural difficulties including Autism & Asperger syndrome, Moderate Learning Difficulties and other complex needs
  • As supply teacher you will be required to follow planning and be able to think on your feet
  • We can offer both full and part time hours and we also have opportunities for candidates who wish to work as a Learning Support Assistant or Cover Supervisor in schools

Requirements of SEN Teacher:

  • Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • The ideal candidates will have experience of teaching within similar SEN settings and have the ability to adapt their teaching styles to suit the needs of individual children
  • Our clients are extremely passionate and offer very friendly and supportive environments to work within

As preferred suppliers to a vast amount of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools across North Yorkshire including York and Scarborough, Teaching Personnel should be your first choice of Agency to work with!

  • Suitable applicants will be required to either undertake a new DBS or have a current Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service
  • Applicants must also be able to provide a minimum of three professional references including your most recent employer (academic references can also be considered) and a full 6 year career history

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
