Supply Teacher
Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a number of Northamptonshirew based primary Schools for supply teachers.
Due to an increase in sickness, shielding and planned absence we have seen an uptake in demand for day to day and short supply staff at a number of our client Primary Schools around Northamptnshire.
As a supply teacher you will have the opportunity to work with a number of client schools across the areas such as Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Rushden and Corby supporting with both day to day, short term and long term positions within these schools.
The role is ideal for those looking for flexible work around other commitments, retired teachers looking for part time roles or those who have taken a break from education and are looking to return to teaching.
Being a short term supply teacher will provide successful candidates with the opportunity to work in different schools teaching varied subjects. As well as the work being flexible, supply teachers also have a reduced workload, as they aren’t responsible for lesson planning or marking, only lesson management and delivery. This is a way for candidates who may have considered themselves out of the teaching profession to continue their passion on a reduced and flexible timetable.
The highlights of working as a supply teacher with Teaching Personnel include:
- Paid via our weekly Pay As You Earn scheme
- Opportunity to work within and close to your area
- Greatly improved work-life balance compared to being a full time teacher, with reduced responsibilities
- Access to a number of CPD courses offered through our training academy
Applicants must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK (QTS) to be eligible for this role, as well as suitable employment references and eligibility to apply for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
Please get in touch on 01604 376814 or email isabelle.jason@teachingpersonnel.com
