Flexible Supply Teacher 

Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible supply teaching opportunities in a supportive secondary school?

A school in Yeovil is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join their team from September 2025.

This role offers the chance to cover a variety of subjects and year groups, delivering engaging lessons that maintain continuity of learning and support pupils’ academic progress.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and policies

  • Managing classroom behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment

  • Adapting quickly to new classes and teaching requirements

  • Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

  • Collaborating with teaching staff to support school priorities

 

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable but not always essential

  • Experience teaching secondary school pupils preferred

  • Flexible, reliable, and able to manage different classroom settings

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • DBS registered on the Update Service or willing to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
